Track 1: Organisational Resilience: Threats and Opportunities
The increase in physical risk due to ever more volatile weather events is a generational challenge. But effective resilience and adaptation planning requires accurate risk projections, and the ability to quantify impact, vulnerability, efficacy of current controls, and the risk reduction value of any further control measures. As transitional and regulatory pressure steps up, it is ever more vital for organisations to have a strong, auditable approach to demonstrate that they have programmes in place that accurately understand the risk and provide a framework for proportionate mitigation.
