Denisse Rudich
Denisse Rudich is a global expert in financial crime prevention who helps leaders in finance, government and emerging technology comply with AML/CFT requirements, manage sensitive matters, and limit human harm. Denisse is CEO of Rudich Advisory and co-founder of Derumari, which is building Productopedia: an AI-enabled AML product risk intelligence platform. She works at the intersection of global governance, financial security and innovation while applying a hands-on approach at firm level with over 20 years’ experience including as Head of AML/CFT Policy for RBS (CBD), Deputy MLRO at HypovereinsBank, Head of Financial Crime at Rabobank and as a technical expert for the EU AML/CFT Global Facility, Council of Europe, OSCE, and UN. Denisse is also Director of the G7 and G20 Research Groups (London) and an Associate Fellow at RUSI CFS.
Denisse has acted as Secretariat for the Global Coalition to Fight Financial Crime, set up the first global AML/CFT working group for the crypto industry (now the FATF VACG), and successfully led groundbreaking initiatives on behalf of The Sentry including the launch of the first ever country alert by the NCA in the UK. Denisse has over 120+ publications on economic and financial crime and regularly provides expert commentary to media outlets such as the BBC, Euronews, CBC, NYT, TRT, etc. Denisse has contributed to crypto initiatives such as the IVMS-101 Messaging Standard, has acted as mentor at FCA TechSprints and the Digital Sandbox, and recently organized an Anti-Corruption Innovation TechSprint for the Inter-American Development Bank and an immersive AI Fraud Battlefron. Denisse regularly provides training on technological innovations in financial crime, including crypto, blockchain and AI governance, and is also a keynote speaker and panellist at industry events.
