Emma is a Partner at Brave Within LLP and a former Big 4 Partner at EY and Deloitte, with more than 25 years' experience advising boards, audit and risk committees, and executive teams operating in complex and fast-changing environments. Her background spans strategic risk, enterprise risk management (ERM), organisational resilience, governance, internal controls, assurance and transformation, with leadership roles across EMEA,

Australia and the United States.

Alongside her advisory work, Emma is also a Teaching Fellow at the University of Bath, where she designs, delivers and assesses the MBA Risk Management module and mentors experienced MBA candidates.

She is particularly interested in the intersection of risk, resilience and strategy, and in how organisations can better anticipate and respond to disruption arising from major macro trends. Through her engagement with Resilience First, Emma is keen to support cross-sector collaboration and practical action that strengthens organisational and societal resilience in the face of increasingly systemic and interconnected risks.
