Jean-Philippe Verdier is the Founding Partner of Verdier & Co. Corporate Advisory, a London-based independent corporate finance advisory firm established in 2016.  

The firm advises public and private corporates, private equity investors and founders on M&A, disposals, and strategic financial advisory, across a range of sectors including business services, technology, industrials and cleantech/greentech. 

Jean-Philippe brings more than 25 years of experience, having executed deals in excess of £25bn / €35bn during his career. Prior to founding Verdier & Co., he held senior roles at BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, Greenhill & Co. and Jefferies. Current and past clients include Rentokil Initial, Nasdaq, Scottish & Newcastle, Adisseo, LDC Groupe, Apleona, Moody’s, EDF, SCC, Tikehau, Eurazeo and Investindustrial. 

At the Resilience World Nexus Summit, Jean-Philippe brings the perspective of a corporate finance adviser working with boards, investors and management teams on how resilience, sustainability, reputation and governance translate into shareholders value, financing confidence and long-term performance. Most recently he moderated another senior-level discussions on ESG, this time as a driver of value creation for private equity at the London Private Capital Symposium 2026. 

A long-standing advocate for responsible business, Jean-Philippe served for a decade as Co-Chair of the Think Tank on Climate Change and Sustainability at the French Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain, and led Verdier & Co. to B Corp certification and recertification in 2022 and 2025. He is a graduate of Neoma Business School and holds an MSc in Strategy & Leadership from London Business School, where he is a Sloan Fellow.
