Jerome Ryan

Managing Director
GRM Solutions

Jerome Ryan is an accomplished operational risk and resiliency leader with more than two decades of experience designing governance, risk, and controls solutions that strengthen organizations across industries. He currently serves as Managing Director at GRM Solutions, a consulting firm he founded to help businesses anticipate, mitigate, and recover from complex risks.

Jerome is also the founder of Plan & Recover, an Al-powered software platform that generates audit-ready risk and continuity plans, helping small and mid-sized businesses meet regulatory and customer requirements.

Much of Jerome's recent work sits at the intersection of operational resilience and insurance underwriting: he partners with carriers, brokers, and program administrators to help organizations translate stronger risk and resilience practices into measurably better underwriting outcomes. At the center of this work is his development of a risk signal that provides underwriters with a quantifiable, data-driven view of an organization's continuity posture and its connection to risk pricing and insurability.

Previously, Jerome was Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Enterprise Resilience at State Street Corporation, where he directed global business continuity, crisis management, and disaster recovery programs. Earlier in his career, he served as Global Head of Operational Resilience at Pfizer, where he set the strategic agenda for the company's global resilience program, leading the design and execution of enterprise-wide risk frameworks and third-party risk management capabilities.

Jerome serves on the Board of Directors of Syracuse University's Whitman School of Management and previously on the Board of DRI International. He holds both a Bachelor of Science and an MBA degree from Syracuse University.
