Laurent Giezendanner is Chair of the UNDRR Corporate Chief Resilience Officer Network and Head of Corporate Security and Legal Operations at Syngenta Group. With over 25 years of international experience, he leads strategic initiatives to safeguard assets, fight illicit trade, and enhance resilience across supply chains. Laurent is dedicated to public-private collaboration and innovation in risk management. He holds an MSc in Security Management and certifications in Lean Six Sigma and AI/ML from MIT. At Syngenta, he advances sustainable agriculture through sophisticated security strategies. Outside of work, he enjoys squash, cycling, skiing, and spending time with family.
