Sanjay Sudarsan
Sanjay Sudarsan is the Global Crisis Design Lead and Crisis Management Consultant with International SOS Consulting and is based at the offices in Paris.
Sanjay brings extensive international experience in Crisis Management, Corporate Resilience, Security, and Executive Leadership Development. Together with a global team of Crisis Designers, he designs and delivers complex crisis simulation exercises for strategic organizations across multiple sectors and regions, enabling executive leadership teams to strengthen their preparedness, response, and recovery capabilities in an increasingly volatile risk environment.
In parallel with his consulting role, Sanjay serves as an adjunct faculty member for the French Armed Forces and the French Domestic Affairs Ministry, where he teaches crisis negotiation, leadership, and crisis communication. He lectures at the École de Guerre and the Centre des Hautes Études Militaires (CHEM), training four- and five-star generals, senior commanders, and executive officers from the French Armed Forces, Gendarmerie Nationale, Police Nationale, and Fire & Rescue Services.
Prior to joining International SOS, Sanjay was a member of the Security and Crisis Coordination Unit at Atos Group, where he designed and facilitated executive crisis management exercises and trained more than 80 senior executives in strategic crisis leadership and decision-making.
His operational experience also includes serving as an Anti-Doping Officer within the Nautical Division during the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, contributing to the delivery of one of the world's largest international sporting events in a complex, multinational security environment.
Beyond his consulting activities, Sanjay has delivered executive leadership programmes for organizations including SNCF, Maison Pierre Hermé Paris, and the senior administrative leadership of the HEC Paris MBA programme. He was also invited to participate as an official delegate at the United Nations Headquarters in New York during the ECOSOC Youth Forum in 2023 and 2025.
Sanjay holds a Master's degree in International Security, Global Risks and Project Management from Sciences Po Paris and a Master's degree in International Relations from Queen Mary University of London. He is also a United Nations Millennium Fellow.
Fluent in English and French, Sanjay has worked across diverse international, governmental, and corporate environments and continues to advise organizations on strengthening resilience, enhancing crisis leadership, and preparing for complex global risks.
