Yasmine is an Associate Professor in Supply Chain Management based at the UK Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence Centre (UK SCALE) at Loughborough University, part of the MIT Massachusetts Institute of Technology Global SCALE Network. Her research and advisory helps organisations navigate systemic risks and design resilient and sustainable supply chains in environments characterised by high uncertainty and complexity, across essential sectors (e.g., energy, food, healthcare, and humanitarian).

She has engaged with businesses, professional institutions, industry partners, and humanitarian organisations on challenges involving resilience, risk, digital transformation, sustainability, and operational performance. Before entering academia, Yasmine gained experience in operations and supply chain management within a Fortune 500 company. She subsequently worked in business development with leading UK engineering professional institutions, coordinating collaborations among businesses, industry federations, and higher education providers.

Yasmine is also Academic Lead and Trustee of the Humanitarian Logistics Association, where she contributes her expertise to strengthening and advancing the humanitarian supply chains' professional capability.

Yasmine is dedicated to bridging supply chain research and practice with the professional communities working in resilience and risk reduction.
