It is hard to think of any incident response that was not improved by earlier warnings,  whether through using increasingly powerful techniques to understand and interpret risk, or the tools and communication processes that turn observation into preparation. The extra days, hours or even seconds that effective early warnings provide are the single greatest differentiator between success and failure, and yet often the systems that could be in place are simply absent, ineffective or poorly designed. This session looks at the latest techniques available to make early warnings affordable, relevant and democratic.
